HELLO AND WELCOME!
My name is Emily, and I am a wife, a mom, a sister, a friend, and a curious person continuously pursuing truth to grow and better understand myself in this big universe. I truly believe we are all divine beings having a human experience and learning lessons in this big classroom I call “Earth School.” While learning lessons and soulful evolution is important, I believe fun and joy to be equally important parts of life. I often try to combine them all when possible.
I come from a strong scientific background having worked as a clinical lab scientist for years, but my true passion lies in the healing arts.
My interest in energy healing and human design has deepened in recent years and I have become dedicated to helping others through these practices. I’m a certified Angel Reiki practitioner and have studied under, DayLuna’s Dana and Shayna, Human Design Specialist Vicky Dickson, and more. I’m always working toward further developing my knowledge with new techniques and continuing education. However, my biggest teachers are my clients. Truly! They teach me so much and my heart swells with joy after each session because I love and value the exchange and connection with each person. We are always teaching and learning from each other if we are willing to listen.
Before jumping feet first into the lightworker community I lived life a bit by the seat of my pants. I let the wind guide me and said yes to as many opportunities as I could.
I have had this drive to know and experience all life has to offer since I was a kid and I have had this curiosity about humanity and people as well. I fed this curiosity by traveling for months at a time while taking odd jobs when they presented themselves. I worked on a farm and as a bartender/host in a hostel in different parts of Nicaragua. I worked on a dude ranch in Colorado and lived a dream of fishing, riding horses, flying in small planes and, best of all, meeting new people and learning their history. There are more stories, but my favorite thing that I got out of all my adventures is empathy and compassion for others. The more people I met and shared even a small interaction, the more I realized how different we all are and how beautiful that is! There is so much fear that is spread around us and it can keep us unconsciously (or sometimes consciously) inert or closed off to our own true nature. Letting go of that fear is part of what will help us all step into our authentic selves and truly live a free life.
Then my life slowed down when some big hard things happened. Wow. Let the processing begin!
I realized that in my adventures I had forgotten to process some of the tough stuff that happened along the way. I realized that I still had quite a bit of internal work to do if I wanted to get back to living life as me. So, I started a habit that I still keep. I dedicate at least a little time each day to do the work (or Love) on myself. Somedays, this means a 30 second tapping session, other days I spend the whole day skiing in powder (my happy place). This is when I came upon Human Design and Reiki. They served as wonderful tools that made sense to me and helped me find meaning and direction for my time here in “earth school.” We all have our own unique lessons and paths as humans, and this is where I get excited. I feel passionate about helping you and others find their way back to themselves, heal, love and trust the self, lessen fear, and gain understanding and confidence in living authentically. Through love and radical trust in ourselves, we will be free.
My clients tell me that they feel so good after my sessions which is great and so important. The sensation of feeling good is how we create and attract abundance into our lives!
